Mid Summer Inspiration

July 31, 2014

We’re just about hitting mid summer and I’ve put together some images for a little inspiration and collection of plus size summer fashion pieces. It is also fitting, because, these images and mood remind me of visiting Utah in the summers while growing up. Since I am currently visiting Utah on a road trip, it makes sense.

When I would visit my great aunt and uncle in the summers, we would stay on their farm in Northern Utah. I’ve never actually been there any other time of year, so this is what reminds me most of it.

Summer Inspiration: Bold

As the change in season from spring to summer is rapidly approaching, I feel the urge to change my fashion inspiration.  In the summer colors tend to get bolder and brighter from the muted, softer colors of spring.

Sticking with my love of vintage and retro, I got my summer inspiration from bright primary colors, basic shapes, and girly silhouettes. All images in my above inspiration board can be found on my Pinterest Board entitled, “Inspiration – Summer 2014.” Below, you can find some of my favorite summer pieces inspired by my board.
