There’s a certain light that comes out in the warmer months in the late afternoon. It’s right before the sun starts to set, and if you time it just right, you can get some beautiful pictures thanks to the angle of the sun. You can see this in these pictures that come from a photo shoot from last year.
It’s most definitely spring around here in California, if not closer to summer in temperature. I’ve decided to do a little “spring cleaning” around The Curvy Elle Show Room & Studio.
Not every vintage item you thrift will end up working out– be it damage that went unnoticed initially, ill fitting and not trying on, not selling, the list goes on… These items add up over time, and I (eventually) need to let go of the unwanted or unneeded. It’s like a load off (metaphorically and realistically) getting rid of these items that were taking up room, but it is hard to let go of something you thought would work out. I have to continually keep reminding myself “DO NOT GET EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED TO THE CLOTHING!” I am much better at doing this now, but it still takes a conscious effort to keep on top of it. It’s hard to say “goodbye…” Yes, even to clothing.
